One of my favorite bargain spots is CVS pharmacy. Here goes:
1st, get one of their cards - it takes about 5 minutes. Then, let the earnings begin! They keep track of your spending, and 4 times a year you get extra CVS bucks. 2% on all purchases, 50¢ for each prescription. The extra bucks show up at the end of each cash register tape.
One bargain this week is:
buy $20 worth of Pepsi / Mountain Dew / Lays Chips + Tostitos (all on sale), get $10 CVS extra bucks to spend on whatever you want - even sales items.
I’m going to use my $10 on Cottonelle toilet paper (16 roll pack with additional 4 free) for $12.97, minus a $2 coupon I have, bringing the cost down to 97¢ or less than 5¢ a roll. Now don’t go away - with that purchase you get another $4 extra bucks reward. Hmm…I see Tide is on sale for $5.99 and I need detergent. I have a 50¢ coupon. So, $5.99 - $4 = $1.99. Minus my 50¢ coupon, that leaves a final price of $1.49!
