With 2009 here,I need to stretch my dollar farther than ever. Fortunately I have ways to make that happen. I’m going to share some of the things I have learned along the way.
I was told that there was a New Years special going on at Colders Furniture store. Basically, the amount of you money you purchased you got that much credit free to buy more. I was in need of a couch, so I went there the day before the big sale and figured out what I was going to get. That way, I wouldn’t be caught in the busy crowd. I found a great couch for $750 which gave me another free $750 that i used on an area rug, decorative screen, and coffee table. I found a salesperson to help me secure it and <strong>I got $1500 worth of furniture for only $750 — What a deal!</strong>
I heard they have a similar deal now where if you buy an appliance or television, you will get half of the amount spent back to buy whatever you want from the store.
